Are You Sure This Is a Redemption Story?

"According to the plot, next I'll accuse you through tears of being an ungrateful bastard, then leap off the Zhu Xian Platform, "

"All right. I'll put a cushion down there to catch you."

"You'll be devastated by my death, go gray overnight, and slaughter every demon in the city."

"...That might be hard, but I'll do my best."

"In the end, you'll search all three realms for me, throw away your pride, and beg me to forgive you and get back together."

"That one's easy."

Song Chaoxi was very pleased with the male lead's quick understanding. "Once we finish the script, we'll each get one of the two good swords as a reward!"

Chen Xi, a sword-obsessed fanatic and the male lead of this redemption story, nodded excitedly.

Song Chaoxi transmigrated and got bound to a redemption-story System.

According to the plot, she was supposed to get tangled up with the male lead, torment him in body and heart, melt him with love, and ultimately redeem each other for a happy ending.

Song Chaoxi took one look at the script and thought, Good grief, what is this, a highly condensed plot that combines eight hundred immortal-romance dramas?

The task was stupid as hell, but the rewards were so good.

So Song Chaoxi started figuring out how to pocket them.

Eventually, she realized that the male lead of this "redemption story" might... maybe... also have been transmigrated...

Well, in that case, why bother with tragic love? They should just milk the System together!
