Mystical forces are rising around the world. Old gods, evil spirits, and demons run rampant.

The god's knowledge and powers are open to her. The entire world is her hunting ground.

A few months later, a new post bumped the thread to the top, and then things spiraled out of control.
[Anonymous User 467: She's not dead. She's doing great, and the big shot even fought all the way through hell. The onlookers are trembling in fear.]
[Anonymous User 490: I'm at the scene in hell. Sis Ying is the kind of person who kills anyone who stands in her way, even gods. She's a veteran god-slayer :-) ]

=Not a conventional power fantasy. The plot focuses on leveling up, fighting monsters, and saving the world. Slow burn, and there probably won't be much romance.

Ying Wusheng enters a modern urban-horror novel and becomes a writer of supernatural folk tales.
In the original story, she is an author with poor sales, often criticized for writing badly and padding her books. The original owner decides to redeem herself by gathering material at a haunted location, but accidentally enters a restricted area and triggers a taboo. She dies horribly, almost triggering a total-party-wipe ending.
Ying Wusheng's verdict: The folklorist's team-wipe-engine character concept really was exactly as advertised.
After crossing over, she is bound to a [Haunted Fiction Writer] System.
The System tells her she must complete the tasks it assigns. Completing a task rewards her with skill points to improve her writing ability.
System: Only when your collection of haunted stories has become popular enough can I send you back to your original world.
Ying Wusheng readily agrees, but when she opens the System, she discovers...
Are these tasks all way too extreme?

After Ying Wusheng pours her heart and soul into completing the tasks, her writing ability grows by leaps and bounds.
She weaves all her nightmarish paranormal-investigation experiences into her work, and her novel becomes an instant hit.
Years later, on an awards stage, the host asks Ying Wusheng how she can write stories that are so chilling and spine-tingling, yet thought-provoking.
Ying Wusheng says gravely, "...Actually, would you believe me if I told you these are all things I've experienced myself?"
Host (stiffly): "..."
The audience falls utterly silent.
Host: "Ha ha ha... Teacher Ying really is a horror-story writer. You almost scared me!"
Ying Wusheng: "..."
