The comments explode.

Li Xing thinks: Little hamsters like us are born to be kept as pets by raptors, so of course we should find a new owner!

When a majestic male lion stops to drink by the river, the little hamster pretends to collapse right beside its paw.

The lion narrows its eyes and stares.

The little hamster carefully rubs against its paw. "Squeak, squeak, squeak!"

I don't eat much. Mr. Lion, could you spare me a few scraps of meat?

The comments are stunned: "Isn't that one of the King's manifested spirit forms?!"

Li Xing is a little hamster with a poor memory.

His ancestor, eighteen generations back, was a forgetful capybara, so he often wakes up from a nap and forgets where he stashed his food, or who his owner is.

Not long after he latches onto the Lion King, he wakes up one day to find that the big lion, who had been carrying him in its mouth and cuddling him to sleep the night before, has vanished. In its place, a white tiger is holding him tightly.

The comments shriek: "How did the King turn from a lion into a tiger? Has his spirit form gone haywire?!"

He's about to become a tiger's lunch.

Li Xing falls back on his old tricks. "Squeak, squeak, squeak!" I'm intelligent! Don't eat me! But since you picked me up, you're my new owner!

As for the big lion from yesterday,

Sorry, I forgot.

The white tiger growls a few times as it stares at the hamster rubbing against it. Its eyes seem to gleam with barely restrained fury.

The comments let out piercing shrieks: "The King got cheated on by himself?!"

But before he can even finish packing, someone grabs him by the scruff of his neck. He looks up into a pair of exceptionally sharp golden eyes.

The man gives him a knowing smile. "What? You reel them in and then run?"
