[Sarcastic Duo] The Boys of Hogwarts

No contract.

Everyone is friends at first, with a tiny bit of Tom and Reigen later on. Please don’t project this onto the real people.

There will be some personal indulgences and lots of borrowed ideas. The timeline begins in the first year of Harry Potter.

Each chapter can be read on its own.

I.

You may think I’m not very pretty,

but don’t judge a book by its cover.

If you can find a hat more clever than me,

I’ll eat myself, I promise.

You can make your bowlers shine as black as night,

your top hats smooth and smart,

but I’m Hogwarts’ Sorting Hat,

so I’m far more skillful and distinguished than yours.

Any thoughts you hide inside your head

can’t escape the Sorting Hat’s keen eyes.

Just put me on, and I’ll tell you

which house is right for you.

You may belong in Gryffindor,

where courage lies deep in the heart.

Their daring, spirit, and chivalry

make Gryffindor stand apart.

You may belong in Hufflepuff,

where people are just and loyal.

Hufflepuff students are patient and honest,

and never fear hard work.

If you’re clever and sharp,

you may join wise old Ravenclaw,

where all those witty, learned souls

will find kindred spirits.

Perhaps you’ll join Slytherin,

where you may make true friends,

but the crafty and cunning will stop at nothing

to achieve their ends.

Come, put me on! Don’t be afraid!

There’s no need to panic!

In my hands, though I don’t have any,

you’ll be perfectly safe.

For I’m a magical hat that can think!

II.

The bells of destiny have rung.

Where will our brothers’ souls belong?

In this life, in a world of magic shrouded in mist,

or in the next, in the ordinary, colorful life of content creators?

The clock of fate climbs up the vine.

In this life or the next,

you’ll be by my side,

and we’ll be by yours.

Write legends with Gryffindor courage,

seek knowledge with Ravenclaw’s curiosity,

let Slytherin’s cleverness win the world’s praise,

let Hufflepuff’s kindness build lasting trust.

When we wake from our dreams and return to that summer,

we’ll meet again in the end.

Let every beautiful thing remain in memory,

and mingle with the wind each day.

In a foreign land,

you’re the only ones I trust.

Let our shining dreams soar high,

time is burning,

there’s no need to look back.

In the end, we’ll return home in glory,

carrying everyone’s hopes with us.

Written according to my own understanding of the brothers.

I knew you all before the rumors did.

Theme: We all hope we’ll meet again in the next life.
