The Fake Immortal in a Strange World

I'm an immortal.

But I'm a fake.

This is a world overrun by ghosts and monsters. Everyone struggles to survive, and the slightest mistake can mean a violent death.

Because life is so hard, tales of immortals who save the suffering have spread throughout this world, giving people a faint, illusory hope.

The immortals in these tales are kind and compassionate, taking pity on the weak.

The immortals in these tales uphold justice, helping the good and punishing the wicked.

The immortals in these tales can do anything: bring the dead back to life with talisman water and turn mud into gold with a touch.

But everyone knows that immortals don't exist. They're nothing more than characters in stories and plays that people made up.

Until one day, the sky suddenly split open amid lightning and thunder, and an immortal in flowing robes descended along with the thunderbolts.

Help! I was working as a costumed background NPC at a tourist attraction when I was suddenly struck by lightning and sent to another world. Now everyone thinks I'm an immortal. What should I do? Answer urgently!
