The Mountain Lord's Handbook [Infrastructure]

[Incense-to-godhood story]

Kun Li transmigrated into a stone and was completely at a loss.

He didn't know whether he'd been cast in Dream of the Red Chamber or Journey to the West, or whether he was supposed to be Baoyu or the Monkey King.

Only when a group of mountain folk gathered around him, chattering and dancing as they worshiped him as the mountain god, did he finally understand. His story was Journey to the West, but sadly, he wasn't the main character, the Monkey King. He was a supporting character: the local earth god.

Fine, the local earth god it is.

A farmer's heart, a farmer's soul. Armed with five thousand years of agricultural know-how from the land of Hua, Kun Li led these mountain folk, who knew only slash-and-burn farming, into a great construction project, gradually bringing the whole world under his rule.

The thing is, for farming, soil alone isn't enough. You also need water.

So Kun Li had no choice but to lure the neighboring water god over, too.

Ahem, hey, water god next door, want to come farm with me?

*Basically, it's a story about a mountain god protecting the people and becoming a god of the land, while also falling in love with the water god.
