Eugene Dracula, the progenitor of vampires. Every human submits to his pheromones, offering him their warm necks and fragile lives.
During the Edo period, Eugene met a man named Douma. His blood was as sweet as a white pear, and Eugene remembered its taste for a hundred years. After Douma's death, Eugene began searching for humans with a similar scent, making them willingly become his blood servants.
He knew that to tame humans, he needed a little false love and a little cunning care.
*
His first substitute was the Zenin clan's talentless deadweight.
Eugene took in homeless Toji, who was like a stray dog soaked in the rain, and soon he fell into the trap Eugene had carefully laid.
Toji knelt beneath Eugene's splendid robes. He offered his blood without reservation, just to linger for one more second in Eugene's cold embrace.
.
His second substitute was the young Six Eyes of the Gojo clan.
Eugene changed his appearance to that of a boy the same age as Gojo. They skipped class to play games and secretly studied dangerous forbidden techniques, winning Gojo's love and trust.
Gojo kissed Eugene's deathly pale cheek and swore with him, hooking their fingers together: No one but death could ever part them.
.
His third substitute was a high school student who could manipulate cursed spirits.
He was always watching Eugene in silence, his gaze concealing a fervent affection that vampires could hardly understand.
One night, Geto suddenly asked Eugene, "Master, who is Douma?"
Eugene never expected Geto to break free of his pheromones' control and imprison him.
Geto used cursed spirits to wrap their tentacles around Eugene's limbs. He greedily bit into Eugene's neck, inhaling the fragrance of his pheromones. His burning lips glided over Eugene's cold skin, as if he were the hunter and Eugene his prey.
*
After this harrowing experience, Eugene realized that Geto was a dangerous person who would be difficult to control.
He was about to abandon his blood servants and run away in secret when he discovered that his lost love had come back to life.
Douma barged into Eugene's home and, looking at his three blood servants, exclaimed, "Oh, so many people!"
