Meng Qi has a sworn enemy named Jiang Shijing. They clash like fire and water, and they seem destined to be at odds.

Jiang Shijing is the kind of guy who eats bombs for breakfast: volatile and explosive.

Luckily, Meng Qi has a pretty great online boyfriend.

He’s gentle and considerate, speaks softly, loves adding cute little particles to his sentences, and always checks that she’s eating and sleeping well. He gives her all the emotional support she could ask for.

He goes home crying and apologizes to his online girlfriend, promising to buy her a new one. But his sworn enemy seems determined to mess with him. A couple of days later, she shows up wearing an identical new hair tie.

His phone dings. His online girlfriend says, “I’m so mad! That idiot grabbed my hair for no reason today, and nearly ruined the new hair tie I just bought!”

Jiang Shijing: “???”

Online girlfriend: “Sweetie, let’s meet up and go watch a movie.”

Curious, Jiang Shijing heads to their meeting spot. His sworn enemy is right across the street, at the same restaurant!

The moment Meng Qi sees him, she gets annoyed. “What’s wrong with you? Are you stalking me? You’re such bad luck!”

Jiang Shijing’s mouth twitches. He tentatively calls out, “Baby?”

“!!!” Meng Qi: “Who are you trying to gross out?”

Jiang Shijing starts a video call right in front of her. Meng Qi answers and sees the big face of the guy standing right across from her on the screen.

“You made the sandwich?!!! Ugh...” Meng Qi gags herself to try to throw up. “You didn’t poison it, did you?”

Jiang Shijing: “Um... I already bought the movie tickets. Why don’t we just go? They’re hard to get, you know~ Baby~”

“Ugh...”

What terrible luck! Might as well go. What else can we do?
