Here is the main plot summary:

Shen Yu, a princess of the previous dynasty, has little more than the title. She's an aimless woman with no ambition, but after meeting Yang Mei, she becomes determined to kill the villain.

Yang Mei is the abandoned daughter of a powerful family. Her soul is that of a modern woman who has transmigrated into the body of Yang Mei of the Wutang dynasty. Her family finds her in the snow at night and brings her back to the city of Shezhou. That same year, she becomes Shen Yu's disciple.

The plot comes first, but the romance is important, too!

The two dote on each other and have always had complete faith in and supported one another.

About the setting:

One-on-one, older woman as the top. I'm still torn between a tragic and happy ending, so we may not know until the story is complete.

Female lead: single and celibate.

Yang Mei is a transmigrator. She was twenty-eight before transmigrating and was an ordinary person. She's weak at first, but later uses her wits to carve out a place for herself in Wutang.

There will be some court politics later. The setting is entirely my own invention!!!

Shen Yu is a cold-faced beauty and an unparalleled master. She has an avoidant personality, but overcomes her flaws to protect the person she loves.

Also, the cultivation practitioners in this book can be thought of as sorcerers. They aren't the kind of omnipotent immortals who can turn the world upside down. They simply differ in the level of their abilities.

P.S. The main couple is also based on historical figures, but only in the sense of a country folk tale, which isn't to be trusted. You can think of this as a completely new story. Since I added cultivation and other things, the original legend has... basically disappeared. I've kept only the general framework. Maybe I'll talk about the story after it's finished, but no spoilers for now!
