The deaf-blind girl Persephone began dreaming every night one day.
She remembered clearly that
those people who desperately wanted to be with her were, in their own ways, "a little" unusual:
A deep-sea monster that would bear her children,
A cave-dwelling aberration with snake hair and golden wings,
A breathtakingly beautiful mermaid,
A narcissistic peacock who knew everything,
An androgynous Athenian scholar,
An autistic half-man, half-snake priest,
A spider embroiderer cursed by the gods...
Hades, Lord of the Underworld, happened to spot a girl picking narcissus flowers all alone and fell in love at first sight, vowing to make her his queen.
When he split open the earth and came riding in a golden chariot drawn by four black horses, intent on forcibly abducting Persephone,
she slapped him in the face with the narcissus flowers she had just picked, sweetly scolded him for being ruled by lust and having no morals or shame, then fled beneath the protection of her mother, the goddess of fertility.
No matter how much divine power Hades used, he could not find the girl who had captured his heart.
So Hypnos and Morpheus, who were also in the Underworld, came up with a terrible idea for him.
