[Crossover] The Soft-Spoken Boyfriend

Before I turned ten, my helpless, frail older brother and I depended on each other. My life goal was to support my helpless, frail brother who'd suffered so much abuse, get a reliable job, then get promoted, earn a raise, marry my pretty-boy boyfriend, and reach the pinnacle of life. Then one day, my brother's hair suddenly turned blond and he curled it into a pair of donuts. Striking a supermodel pose, he told me he was going to become a Yosakoi star. I hugged the white-haired, red-eyed, strange Pokemon I'd picked up by the roadside and declared that I was going to become a magical girl. Then he succeeded, and I failed. ...Damn it. After I turned ten, my belated rebellious streak talked me into stealing my brother's wallet. Clutching the white-haired Pokemon I'd nearly petted bald, I crossed the ocean and decided to skip the first half of my dream and go straight to finding a pretty boy. Then I found my soft, sweet pretty boy. He's so obedient, so cute, and so perfect for me to mess with. My pretty-boy boyfriend is a timid, herbivorous type. He's frail and helpless, and has suffered abuse, but his hair doesn't change color, he doesn't strike poses or shout about becoming a Yosakoi star. The most outrageous thing he does while we're dating is tearfully hang his family's heirloom ring around my neck and say, "You took my ring, so now you have to take responsibility for me, okay?" I said okay. Then my sweet, subtly clueless mother-in-law asked excitedly when I was going to change my last name to Sawada. The male lead is 27. This is true love! True love!!! (shouting very loudly) A little fake fluffy romance, with the usual dark Mary Sue elements. Love you all. Blurb saved on December 30, 2022. Theme: Love may be separated by mountains and seas, but mountains and seas can be crossed.
