The Beauty I Couldn't Have

Bottom's perspective 1. Top's perspective: At twenty, Cheng Yanyun returned home after leg surgery. During the month he spent recovering, he fell in love at first sight with the boy next door. The boy was always alone on the lawn, sketching. His features were like a fine brushstroke, his eyelashes long and dark, his back slender. When he looked up from afar, his eyes seemed to hold endless troubles. So pitiful, so melancholy, so... captivating. Then he was thoroughly deceived for a month. He searched for him desperately, but couldn't find him. He tried with all his might, but couldn't forget him. 2. Bottom's perspective: Jiang Yu grew up surrounded by love and sweetness. In his twenty-five years, he'd never known what melancholy was. On his twenty-fifth birthday, he was posing and taking selfies at his best friend's house when he unexpectedly caught the eye of the young master next door. The young master was an old acquaintance. He'd treated Jiang Yu like dirt and run off abroad, but now he'd returned without a word and was pretending to have amnesia. Jiang Yu: "If we're playing, then let's play. We'll see who's the better actor!" A melodramatic, bottom-focused story with plot twists, an optimistic bottom, a purehearted, love-struck top, and a happy ending. 2022.12.26 Theme: .
