Do Not Feed the Nonhuman Boyfriend

Three hundred years after the residents of Planet E migrated to Planet Miyue, a monster tide erupted. The original inhabitants, known as “Moon Wraiths,” began attacking the immigrants from Planet E indiscriminately.

Chu Dao, captain of the guard squad, was renowned for her steely resolve and merciless blade. Her strikes never missed, and no monster had ever escaped her blade, except No. 231.

The monster lurking in the black fog was strange. Whenever it descended with the monster tide, the other tentacled monsters became even more savage and bloodthirsty if Chu Dao was leading the squad. No. 231 charged along with the tide too, but whenever it reached Chu Dao, it would just stand there obediently.

Chu Dao: ?

Chu Dao tried cutting it once.

No. 231 gulped down her blade and went right back to snuggling up to her.

No. 231 was an original inhabitant with no physical form. Ever since it was born, it had lived inside a cloud of black fog. Everything beyond the fog was blurry to it, until it met an alien creature.

It could see her colors and hear her voice. It could tell she was very curious about it. This alien creature knew it liked to eat and fed it every time they met. Whenever it ran over to snuggle up to her, she would give it the weapons she carried as snacks.

No. 231 gradually gained a mind of its own. It realized she preferred the form of her own kind, so it copied what it had seen and manifested a physical body, until... Chu Dao picked it up from her dorm bed and threw it out.

No. 231: ?&@#￥%[Why did you throw me out? You haven't given me today's snacks yet!]

Chu Dao drew her blade: “Men only slow me down when I'm drawing my sword. No. 231 doesn't.”
