After Being Offered to the Gods

Sang Qiu was a penniless loser with every kind of bad luck imaginable.

To snag a free meal at an all-you-can-eat buffet, she filled out a questionnaire about whether she believed in the supernatural.

The moment she finished, she transmigrated to another world and became the saintess of some obscure church.

Sang Qiu: "..."

She'd only wanted to get a free buffet meal. Why did that have to turn into transmigration?

.

The gods had grown to hate humanity.

The people of the Norlans Continent were in despair. The church did everything in its power to summon a devout follower of the gods from another world, hoping she could win back their favor.

Day after day, they prayed, begging for the gods' blessing.

The gods were woken by all the noise. They lowered their eyes and finally decided to listen to the voice of their chosen follower.

[Praying every day. What good does that do?]

[To hell with the gods. I'm sick of this shit.]

The gods: "..."

.

The gods doted on their rebellious follower.

One sunny afternoon, they once came with the spring breeze and saw their follower fast asleep during the hymns. They sighed at how thoroughly irreverent she was.

Even on such a lovely day, she ought to be careful not to catch a chill.
