Lovely and Approachable

A short story of a few tens of thousands of words, free and not serialized for payment.

Yan Ke falls ill and loses her memories of the past. The only thing she remembers is her mother, who stayed by her side and cared for her.

In her first year of high school, her mother, with nowhere else to turn, sends her to the Lin family. When Yan Ke arrives, she's warned to take good care of the boy with the strange temper and nasty disposition.

But when she wakes him, the handsome boy, whose eyes are full of hostility, doesn't get angry as expected. Instead, he hugs her tightly as if she's a lifeline.

A burning teardrop falls onto Yan Ke's shoulder, tense with fear, and soaks through her thin clothes. Her heart feels as if it's been crushed in a fist, leaving her unable to breathe.

P.S. They save each other. Happy ending.
