[Blurb]
Asano Ki's goal was to rise to the position of the Organization's number two.
Of course, that was true before she turned twelve. She was set on becoming ruthless and shrewd, and was determined to see it through.
But...
Life is not always smooth, whether you walk the righteous path or the evil one.
The mother she had always admired turned out to be an undercover agent, making her life plan take a sharp, ninety-five-degree turn.
Not one hundred and eighty degrees, and not three hundred and sixty.
She admired her powerful mother, and was curious about the unwavering conviction she had held for twenty years, as well as the reason it had collapsed overnight after learning the truth.
Her goal was no longer to serve the Organization, but to experience life.
To build a relatively stable, normal life during the lulls between the Organization's missions;
To "collude" with Codename members to investigate information about the past;
To secretly go easy on the Organization's targets and observe the results;
The end point is to be reborn, or to be destroyed.
She discovered her mother's true identity, and passed on to her mother's successors the information she had traded her life to obtain.
And she became a shadow able to stand in the sunlight.
PS:
1. The protagonist is morally gray. She saves people and kills people.
2. OOC, with a scrambled timeline.
3. The Police Academy group survives, with lots of personal headcanons.
4. CP: Scotland
Theme: Everyone needs something to hold on to in life
