After the divorce, Yi Sui lives a quiet, celibate life.

He thinks this is how he'll spend the rest of his days, until an urgent report comes in: his former young sentinel is critically injured and won't survive in the hospital without a guide.

Without a word, Yi Sui takes care of the remarriage paperwork and brings him home to nurse him back to health.

The young sentinel is like a cat with its fur standing on end as he shouts at Yi Sui. "You're remarrying me for the organization and its reputation again, aren't you?"

Yi Sui holds out a spoon. "Open your mouth."

The young sentinel glares. "Rrrawr." He swallows the medicine.

Three months later, rumors are flying all over Black Tower. Everyone is certain the senior leader and the young sentinel will divorce for a second time.

The young sentinel goes out drinking with a group of friends until he's dead drunk. Then he staggers around downstairs, mumbling, "Turn... on the lights and see whose sentinel I am!"

His friends watch as a man approaches with steady steps and an imposing presence, takes the young sentinel's hand, and draws him into his arms.

Yi Sui kisses his forehead and coaxes him softly. "Mine."

The next day, Yan Jin shows up in a foul mood, his neck covered in marks. He slams the divorce papers onto his supervisor's desk.

"Divorce!"
