The Contrast Group Goes Viral After Bringing Their Kids on a Parenting Variety Show

Lu Yuanxing transmigrates into a wealthy family's foil character: the cannon-fodder dad of a villainous kid, who has to take the child on a parenting variety show. The foil character is wrong no matter what he does. The child is spoiled, willful, and hopeless at everything. The two of them are mocked by the entire internet and driven out of the entertainment industry by relentless abuse. Lu Yuanxing: If I try, they mock me. If I lie flat, they mock me too. It's all the same, so I might as well be a lazy fish and give up. * On the first day of filming, the production team announces a challenge: compete to make double-skin milk. Lu Yuanxing affectionately pats the kid's head. "Sweetie, if you don't know how to make it, let's not bother. We can come in last and enjoy the food." Then Lu Yuanxing slumps in his chair. The kid: ??? Sigh, Dad's too frail. It's up to the kid! So the kid doubles his efforts and gets to work. Thanks to him, their team takes first place. "Dad, eat!" Everyone else: This isn't how this is supposed to go! * The production team gets everyone to catch shrimp. Lu Yuanxing says, "I'm not up to it, sweetie. Let's hang back, take it easy, and slack off..." The kid looks determined and charges to the front with a net, winning first place for their team. Lu Yuanxing: ? The kid: "Shrimp is full of protein. I'll cook some for Dad!" Everyone else: Waaah, this kid really knows how to spoil his dad! * The production team excitedly interviews him. "Xingxing, everyone says you're exceptionally gifted at raising children. How do you do it?" Lu Yuanxing: "Yes, yes, that's right." "Could you share a few words of wisdom about parenting?" "This kid's always been like this. He's smart, just like me." Reporter: ? * His wealthy husband, Lin Jingzhou, returns from abroad. On the day he arrives, he expects Lu Yuanxing to be waiting at the airport, begging him for money. Instead, Lu Yuanxing is leisurely drinking coffee with the kid. Lin Jingzhou: "They say you married me for my money." Lu Yuanxing: "Yes, yes, that's right." Lin Jingzhou: "They say you treat the child badly." Lu Yuanxing looks at the kid clinging to his side and reaching up to be picked up. "Yes, yes, that's right." Lin Jingzhou: "... They say we don't have any feelings for each other." Lu Yuanxing looks down at the kid. "Maybe we have a little, but not much." Lin Jingzhou tugs at his short trench coat and kisses Lu Yuanxing in front of the paparazzi. Lu Yuanxing: ??? The kid pushes Lin Jingzhou. "Don't bully Dad! You're a grown-up husband now. Dad's so delicate, so you have to pamper him!" * This blurb was written when the book was still an upcoming title, so it differs somewhat from the actual story. * There are two kids, and both will go on the parenting show with the protagonist. * The love interests are each other's one and only. The older child's background will be revealed later. * This is just something I wrote for fun, so please take it lightly. The author isn't especially talented, and it might end up being pretty bad, but I'll do my best to update! * This story is entirely fictional. Please don't compare it to real life. = Check out my other ongoing story: "The Marshal's Pregnant Little Merman" = Moral: Even in difficult circumstances, you should take good care of your kids.
