"He's coughing up blood and you're telling me he's fine? Are you blind?"

He quit smoking. "My husband's health is poor. He can't stand the smell of smoke."
He quit drinking. "I don't want to go home reeking of it."
He started coming home early and leaving late. "My husband says a man who takes care of his family is the most handsome."
Everyone: "..."
Ouch. That stings.
And in a place no one else could see, Feng Ju pulled Shen Lian fiercely into his arms. "Don't you dare mention that man again. Why does he follow you everywhere? Is he better-looking than me? Does he take better care of you? Does he love you more than I do?"
