Back to My Daughter's Youth

Qiao Ran is an actress with genuine talent, but she is overweight and unattractive. After ten years in the industry, she has only ever played forgettable supporting roles.

"She looks like that and still wants to play the lead? Has she even looked in a mirror to see if she's fit for it?"

"She's as fat as a pig, and without makeup her face is covered in acne scars..."

After her divorce, Qiao Yuzhen worked herself to the bone, building a business from scratch to give her family a better life.

After she died, her spirit drifted to her daughter and heard people speaking so cruelly about her behind her back.

Heartbroken, Qiao Yuzhen opened her eyes and found herself back twenty years in the past, when her daughter was still in elementary school.

In this life, she would stop being a workaholic, return to the joys of everyday life, and be there as her daughter grew up.

Years later, on a film set.

During a break, Ranran took a lunchbox from her insulated bag.

Glossy sweet-and-sour pork ribs, tofu-skin rolls stuffed with meat in a rich broth, crisp bok choy with shiitake mushrooms, and adorable little bear cakes, along with homemade, health-conscious milk tea.

Healthy and nutritious, with something different every day.

After filming together for a few weeks, the other actors finally couldn't resist gathering around her to ask, "Ranran, does your mom have room for another daughter or son?"
