A Wedding Under the Red Luan Star

When Yan Lin was sixteen, his Granny, a Gu-raising witch, fell gravely ill. Before she died, she left him a marriage contract:

A bite on the arm as their vow, a wedding arranged between the living and the dead.

The Ghost King takes a bride, and the fated wedding stars shine bright.

From that moment on, Yan Lin set foot on a road with no return, one that would not end until his death.

Ever since returning from the ancestral rites, Feng Jiayu had felt terribly hungry. That was, until he ate a snake egg.

As the tender, slimy, foul-smelling piece of flesh entered his mouth, he finally remembered his younger brother, missing for days; the infant with a human head and a serpent's body; the blood-seeping, reeking kite.

And that children's rhyme that kept haunting him:

"In March, the spring breeze blows."

"A bloody paper kite flies in the sky."

"The soul drifts, never to return."

"Chop off the head, hack off the legs."

"The broth is rich, the bones are crisp."

"Eat a bite, live a hundred years."

1. A cold and aloof Heavenly Master bottom × an extremely possessive, old-fashioned bking Ghost King top.

2. A traditional Chinese folk-horror novel told in a serious, classical style, with Lovecraftian-style arcs likely to come later.

3. Two crazies, mutual salvation, written purely to indulge my kinks.

4. Set in a fictional world, so please don't relate it to reality.
