But She's Not the Saintess

A Zhao is an ordinary child.

She has no home, has never gone to school, has no proper name, and survives by stealing wherever she can.

Once, she sneaks into a temple to steal,

and happens upon the dead body of a saintess who has taken her own life.

Daring to take a chance, she puts on a veil,

takes the dead saintess's place,

and hopes to gain a life of wealth and comfort.

But her acting is so terrible

that she is exposed before long.

Now she must face the temple elders, the royal court that rules the land, the knights who guard the saintess, the fanatical believers who follow her, and the powerful minister brother who is about to return home.

When that happens,

how will she survive?
