[Comprehensive Wuxia] Please Stop Reading So Much Into Things

Blurb:

Luo Que is an utterly ordinary wage slave. After dutifully making it through a high-risk Japanese anime dungeon, she is assigned to the wuxia section to eliminate evil fiends that have crossed through the world's barriers and caused havoc.

A secret identity is a must, and showing off is only natural. Who could have guessed that every member of the development team had such peculiar tastes? They provided Luo Que with the following templates:

A black widow who ate her husband, then mistook someone else for his killer.

An otherworldly entity, slimy and detached from the world, with a thousand hands and a hundred eyes.

A puppet that committed murder and luckily escaped being destroyed by its owner.

A white-haired swordsman, resolute despite his disabilities, traveling alone.

And also xenomorphs, slimes, jackal-headed beings, human-skin skeletons...

Luo Que: I don't get it, but I'm deeply shaken.jpg

Damn it, why are your tastes so weird!

Her pupils trembled and her head filled with question marks, but the natives of the wuxia world turned out to be even more extreme.

Wait, why are you all just accepting these secret identities like that!

And stop making up weird backstories for me!

Warnings:

The heroine has no romantic pairing, but her secret identities have love lines, with lots of unrequited crushes.

There are lots and lots of original settings. If you don't like them, just click the X and let's part on friendly terms.

The secret identities can be male or female. Everything they do serves the mission, and romance affects how quickly the heroine draws her blade.

Theme: Strive for promotion and a pay raise.
