I Was Blackened Through and Through, but Got a Happy Ending with the Redhead

Yuri thinks Bourbon has been acting a little strange lately.

He's always been like a dog, sticking close to her, licking and biting her. But recently, he instinctively avoids her when she tries to get close... as if he's become a different person.

But however you look at it, this is...

Wonderful!

Yuri, who has been coerced for years, is overjoyed to tears.

Since going undercover at the Black Organization, Rei has worked hard to bury his past and earn the organization's trust. He's been diligent about pretending to be the same person as the "Bourbon" who came before him, so no one will find out they're different people.

He never expected the previous Bourbon to have done so many awful things, not to mention coercing a girl into dating him.

And the girl in question is Yuri Yuzuri, a member of the organization's finance department.

...This is the kind of information Aki never told me!

Hiro thinks he's not to blame for this intel gap.

After all, Bourbon holds a high position in the organization, so it's hard for him to investigate Bourbon's private life. Besides, Yuri Yuzuri doesn't even have a codename in the organization. She's a nobody.

He pats his best friend on the shoulder. "Anyway... just do your best to handle it! Maybe ask Hagi for some tips?"
