[Harry Potter] Hogwarts: A Running Diary

Sennina's fingertips glide over the slightly yellowed pages and the still-clear handwriting. It is a diary, dated June 1, 1998. It reads--

"The reason I became who I am today can be traced back to a stormy early summer night in 1990. I was eleven that year. I clearly remember how an owl brought me the most important message of my life. It marked a beginning and set my fate rolling forward along its course. Looking back, I feel that for the past eight years, I have been peering down the narrow path along which fate advances, wondering what I have gained and lost. The dust of time cannot bury the past. I became who I am today because of my own choices. Some things cannot be changed, but many more are choices we make ourselves."
