First person essay
Note: It has nothing to do with No. 680 Nanjing Road, Shanghai in real life. It just borrowed this name. The story is purely fictitious.
Copywriting:
The year I came to Shanghai was the year when it snowed the most in the south.
I came to No. 680 Nanjing Road, Shanghai, and wanted to sit on a bench on the street and end my life quietly on this snowy night.
In my pocket, there is a bottle of sleeping pills.
As luck would have it, I met a man who also wanted to commit suicide.
There was also a bottle of sleeping pills in his pocket.
We were supposed to die together on this snowy night, but this time we met, we developed a strong curiosity about each other.
I asked him, "You are so rich, why do you want to die?"
He asked me, "You are so young, why do you want to die?"
Two madmen, both want to know each other's stories.
So we walked into each other's lives and pressed the pause button on death.
Recalling it again is like having a dream covered in snow.
If you were to write a memoir, how would you begin to describe this madness?
I would write like this.
"No. 680, Nanjing Road, Shanghai, winter, heavy snow.
I hold a bottle of sleeping pills, hoping to fall asleep under the snow and not wake up in the world.
But I met my god, and he fished me out and held me as high as the bright moon.
We have known each other for thirty days.
Thirty years better than others.
I am insatiable, but I am content with the world from now on. "
Mission: Life is precious, live well
