[Next up: The Sect Contrast Group Just Wants to Slack Off, currently in the drafting stage. See below for the blurb.]
[My profile also has completed comedy novels: the male-led, no-CP The Harem of My Majesty Is All Slacking Off, and the female-led cultivation novel Max-Level Second Female Lead, Just Wants to Slack Off. Come check them out!]
[This is a comedic novel with a female protagonist and no CP, focused on an ensemble cast and doting affection.]
My name is Mu Yao, and I'm an utterly ordinary junior sister of the Wangshu Sect.
My eldest senior sister is a Phoenix-like heroine: reborn, ruthless, and sparing with her words, a gifted genius with a cheat-like talent.
My second senior brother is a Dragon-like hero: elegant in white, charming and dashing, a level-up-and-face-slap kind of guy.
My master is a retired, max-level couch potato. He seems lazy, but he's a terrifying presence to the other sects.
My third senior brother is a hidden Demon Lord villain...
And me?
I'm just an unremarkable ordinary person.
I have no foundation and can't cultivate. While everyone else shines, I'm the one clapping and cheering them on.
Fortunately, my sect is united and loving, and my senior brothers, senior sister, and master treat me very well.
But I have a secret, too.
I'm a superpowered individual.
I can use every supernatural ability in the world.
Notes:
1. Third-person narration.
2. A slice-of-life comedy.
3. All the big shots are the real deal.
4. Might be a doted-on heroine story.
5. Might be an ensemble story.
Next up: The Sect Contrast Group Just Wants to Slack Off
Jiang Ziqing, a top-tier quick transmigration agent, retires to enjoy her golden years. She returns to the world of a cultivation novel she once knew, bringing with her all the max-level skills she trained in during her previous missions, from cultivation to memorization.
To enjoy a quiet retirement, Jiang Ziqing abandons the identity she worked so hard to turn around and hides her abilities, posing as an ordinary person.
But she discovers she's become the contrast character to the heroine of the novel's second installment: the heroine's half-sister, who shares the same father.
The heroine has exceptional cultivation talent from childhood, a lovely personality, and a sharp mind. Her parents adore her, and everything goes her way. She joins the foremost cultivation sect, the Mutian Sect, and wins the admiration of all kinds of righteous and villainous big shots.
Jiang Ziqing, on the other hand, has terrible cultivation talent, a bad personality, and a dull mind. Her father doesn't care for her, her mother doesn't love her, and the heroine kindly brings her into the sect, where she earns everyone's resentment. In the end, she's sent to the villain in the heroine's place, and her life comes to a close.
From experience, Jiang Ziqing knows this is another second female lead's comeback plot.
Jiang Ziqing: I already retired, and you still expect me to take on missions? Get lost!
So, when the Immortal Venerable of the Mutian Sect comes to choose disciples...
Jiang Ziqing: Hah, choosing disciples in the middle of the night? I'm going to bed.
When the sect's trials offer the perfect chance to make a comeback...
Jiang Ziqing: To hell with the trials! Tickets to the show down the mountain are half off. Let's go!
When she's sent to the villain in the heroine's place...
Jiang Ziqing: Hm? I hear the villain is incredibly handsome. What a wonderful opportunity!
What Jiang Ziqing never expects, though, is this:
The Immortal Venerable is a health enthusiast. When he learns Jiang Ziqing shares his interests, he admires her and immediately decides to take her as a disciple.
The prodigious eldest senior brother loves opera. Seeing how much Jiang Ziqing appreciates her acting, he declares her his kindred spirit on the spot.
The villain suffers from anxiety about his appearance, and, before she knows it, Jiang Ziqing has even helped him find redemption.
Later, Jiang Ziqing, who has kindred spirits all over the world, says:
I just wanted to retire and slack off. Really.
P.S. 1. The villain is not the male lead. The male lead is someone else.
2. A comedy. The heroine is max-level from the beginning, and the original heroine gets a villainous portrayal.
Theme: Face life with a positive attitude!
There are also advance collections of articles written by fellow cultivators "The Fairy Sect Control Group Just Wants to Be Bad" (currently being saved, open in the next volume), and the completed sand sculpture articles "All my harems are not doing their jobs properly", "The second female lead at the highest level, just wants to be bad", "I am surviving on gold-fingered abuse articles" and so on. Interested little angels are welcome to poke around~
It seems to be explained clearly, but it seems to be a little unclear. I know how I want to feel at the end, but how to put it, the climax is not pushed too much. The method and what everyone did should be described in detail, but it is not described in place. It is like an outline, so the final ending does not feel like the dust has settled. Then, the rest is purely subjective. I personally like everyone to know how powerful the protagonist is. This, without other people, the subsequent description is a bit boring and not exciting enough.
Redefining ordinary waste hahahahaha
Very well written, I like it very much
It feels like a bit of a nonsensical loop (?)
Good article, good review (o^^o)
Spreading Flowers~ It's a bit short and I feel like the story is not explained clearly and it's over.
You can tell if you can eat people, you must be reading a book, right?
There are fewer reviews on this book than I expected. Regardless of whether it is good or bad, it is because the heroine did not show off in front of others, which made her feel unhappy (purely a personal opinion). After all, this book looks a bit like the plot of Qi Shen and Immortal King, but in those two books, although most people are kept in the dark, the protagonist still shows off in front of others. At least the people close to him know it, which is a bit satisfying.
Why did it end like this?
