At last, Ji Mingqiu finds video files on Ning Yi's computer: recordings of the old case, materials even the police don't have.

The images leave Ji Mingqiu in a daze of pain, his vision going dark.

The young man says nothing. He gently touches the red mole on the edge of Ji Mingqiu's ear.

He has wanted to do that for a long time.

Ji Mingqiu instinctively recoils.

"Don't move." The young man holds his shoulder down. "Forgot? We used to be so close."

What?

The young man smiles again, bends down, and presses his lips to Ji Mingqiu's. "And we did this, too."
