A Loulan hostage prince × a princess sent to marry into another nation
Fu Fu is a princess of the Ming Dynasty who was lost among the common people.
She was not found and brought into the imperial palace by her biological brother until she was fourteen.
With an indifferent emperor and a mother who had died young, Fu Fu felt that life outside the palace had been freer.
There were three thousand tiled roofs in the imperial palace. By chance, she wandered into the little tower where the Loulan hostage prince lived. The golden-haired, blue-eyed youth seemed like a god beneath the sunlight.
Fu Fu stared in wonder, then immediately knelt to make a wish.
Lou Yu had probably never met anyone so guileless. He gave a quiet cough and said,
"If you want to make a wish, you need to make an offering first."
He had only meant it as a joke, but from then on, the girl really did keep bringing food and jewelry as "offerings."
She said her wish was to have someone keep her company at meals, to watch the moon together on a palace rooftop, catch carp in the imperial garden pond, visit the temple fair on the fifth day of the fifth month, and travel to the world's high mountains, lakes, and seas.
The youth put on the airs of a god and accompanied her on every one of these adventures.
Except that on the fifth day of the fifth month, he failed to keep his promise.

Two years later, she was abducted on her way to the grasslands to marry.
The man who intercepted her bridal sedan chair had dark eyes and black hair. He arrived with a group of oddly dressed people, fell to his knees, and called her a goddess. He ignored her protests, made a wish, and then carried her sedan chair around from place to place all day.
She fled, he pursued, and she couldn't escape. At her wits' end, Fu Fu told him plainly that her heart already belonged to someone else.
The hostage prince she had known as a girl.
The man's expression remained unchanged, but after he got his confirmation, his heart leapt with joy. That night, he washed the dye from his hair, revealing lake-green eyes.
He appeared before her looking just as he had in the past and said:
"So you've been in love with me all along, too."
[You always called me a god, but in truth, you were the goddess who saved me from my suffering.]

A little story about mutual redemption. I'm practicing my writing, and the setting is entirely fictional. I just wanted to read a story about a beautiful, determined Loulan hostage prince and a guileless, kind-hearted Central Plains princess saving each other, so I wrote it myself!
The blurb has been screenshotted.
Theme: Love is mutual redemption.
