[This work is published exclusively on Jinjiang. Reposting is prohibited.] [Coming soon: "Can a Natural-Born Idiot Really Work Undercover?" BL spin-off: The Self-Destructive Road of an Idiot Truck "A Straight Guy Becomes the Protagonist of an Otome Game" BL spin-off: An Unusual (Pseudo) Gender-Bend Has Appeared] Main synopsis: Ichinose Yuma is an ordinary gaming enthusiast. But when he played a certain virtual reality game, a few little problems seemed to crop up... >>> 1. He boarded the train to leave. Though they had clearly promised to leave together, the one who showed up was not the older brother he trusted, but a fully armed assassin. "Big Brother, people who break their promises have to swallow a thousand needles, you know." 2. The blade sank into the waist of the russet-haired boy, blood soaking through his clothes. Being stabbed by the family member he trusted most hurt his heart even more than the wound. "Yuu, why?" 3. At the brink of death, the Six-Eyed Child of God saw his precious friend. Just as hope rose in his heart, an arrow pierced his head, sending him to his death once more. "...What? Why do you look so bitter? I'm the one who got killed." 4. His childhood friend, whom he had grown up with, had promised to protect more ordinary people together. But at the very last moment, he removed his false mask, leaving behind only a shattered truth. "All this time, were you just playing 'let's pretend we're friends' with us?" Yet the answer was always the same. "This is nothing but a game." >>> Driven to the brink of madness by one mission after another, Yuma finally flipped the table in a rage. Yuma: I'm done playing this lousy game! Before he could finish cursing out the useless System, he turned around and saw the game characters he'd once abandoned or betrayed to clear the game. Their corruption meters were now maxed out, and they had all come looking for him. The bandage-wearing man he'd tried to assassinate: Long time no see, Yuu. Still want to kill me? The hat rack he'd stabbed: ...You're back, Yuu. The Six-Eyed Child of God he'd shot in the head: Yuu, I've already forgiven you. Don't be scared. The squinty-eyed fox he'd abandoned: Be good. I don't want to be too rough with you. Yuma: ...Is it too late to say "Amen"? "A puppy that's been abandoned once becomes cautious when it sees its owner again, afraid it might do something wrong." But what he had thrown away wasn't a puppy. It was a beast. >>> [Content warnings] 1. Characters may become corrupted. 2. Open ending, with plenty of love-rival showdowns. 3. The male lead is an ordinary person with a terrible personality, a short temper, and a big ego. He betrays people. 4. The male lead is not a Fourth Disaster (please take note). 5. The male lead is highly empathetic and emotional, and is constantly conflicted. [Please check out my upcoming work below!] [BL spin-off: "A Straight Guy Becomes the Protagonist of an Otome Game"] [Synopsis dated 6/18] Fujiwara Yuki is a hardcore galgame fan. After an otome game binds him as its heroine, he learns that he must win over five men to get out. Yuki: I'm not interested in men. (coldly) System: Then I'll install a gender-bend patch and turn them into girls. Yuki: But knowing they used to be men... System: Here's the character art. (Photos of the characters after the gender swap.) Yuki: I'm in. (instant reply) >>>> 1. Standing amid enough red roses to cover the entire Port M building, he smiled tenderly at the bandaged girl with a face cold as frost, then dropped to one knee. "Beautiful lady, may I court you... Achoo!" The bandage-wearing man: ...You know you're allergic to pollen, right? 2. Inside, a decadent party was in full swing. Outside, beneath the moonlight, the two of them had the view all to themselves. He bowed slightly and held out his hand to the petite, adorable orange-haired girl in a top hat. "Please allow me to have this dance, my lady... Huh? You want to lead?" ...It ended with neither of them knowing how to dance the lead's steps. 3. At the Port M training grounds, he gently stroked the head of the emotionless dog. The sickly girl's cool expression turned into flustered embarrassment. "Akutagawa, you're a very important person to me, too." Yuki: This dress really suits Ryunosuke! The floppy-eared rabbit: ... (He put it on in the end.) 4. ... [In short, successful conquest (?) ] What he didn't know was that the so-called gender-bend patch distorted his perception of his targets' genders. The aloof, delicate beauty, the tsundere young lady, the mature, alluring woman, the frail, quiet girl he saw... were all, without exception, male, both physically and psychologically. It wasn't until the day one of the "beautiful girls" pushed him down that he belatedly realized something seemed a little off about their positions. Yuki: Wait, wait, wait! I'm not into girl-on-boy! (horrified) Sorry, it's BL. (smiling) >>>> 1. An unconventional gender-bend. The male lead's perception of gender is distorted. He sees his targets as women, but they're actually still men. 2. The male lead is straight and loves beautiful girls (only fictional ones). A gentle, considerate big brother: Everyone is my wing.jpg 3. The male lead has incredible patience and rarely gets angry, especially with fictional beautiful girls [emphasis added]. 4. There are otome game and galgame elements. Just think of it as a romance game. Theme: You have to give sincerity to receive sincerity
