Zhao Ningfei has always been a model of propriety.
Before she transmigrated, she was a well-behaved student with excellent grades and conduct.
After transmigrating into the slums of a sci-fi world, she seized every opportunity: she got into the best university, became a favored student of a renowned scholar, received offers from major conglomerates, and was personally invited to join a newly established tech company's CEO's business. Her future looked dazzling.
But just before she was due to start work, she suddenly got linked to a comics forum:
[Next issue preview: The mysterious Jieshi Corporation is about to welcome a new executive. Word is she's a warm and gentle graduate of a prestigious university. Can she survive her first day at this dangerous company?]
It turned out that the company she was about to join was the villainous organization in the comic, and the BOSS who had personally invited her was the mastermind. Her new coworkers, whom she had yet to meet, were all villains.
And she was a doomed executive destined to die from the start.
Zhao Ningfei thought about the astronomical penalty for breaking her contract, her face expressionless.
Warm and gentle?
I'll show you crazy. :)

At first, everyone thought she was just a cannon fodder character meant to be sacrificed from the start.
When a cold-blooded villain with maxed-out combat skills held a blade to her throat and flashed a cruel smile, she didn't move a muscle.
[Poor girl, she's terrified. It's over, she's going to be sacrificed.]
But when the BOSS barked at the villain to put away the knife and publicly awarded her the latest technology, a Silver-Hunting Light Gun, she accepted it with graceful composure, smiled as she examined it, then
without hesitation, pulled the trigger in the villain's direction.
An arrogant villainous scientist deliberately tried to stump her with complicated jargon. She listened in silence.
[Fei jie doesn't study this stuff. How could she possibly understand?]
But when the scientist finished explaining and looked down at her with contempt, she gently pinched the last page between her fingers.
