After an accident, a second personality appeared inside Su Mingge. To stay alive, he was forced to enter a laboratory and undergo inhumane human experiments.

Before leaving, he painfully said goodbye to the boyfriend he'd been dating for four years: "Don't wait for me."

Qiu Liyuan grabbed his hand, staring at him with undisguised intensity, as if he wanted to devour him. "Why?"

Without an explanation or goodbye, Su Mingge suddenly vanished from public view.

He'd thought he would die in the laboratory alongside the second personality inside him, but less than a month after they were separated, Qiu Liyuan appeared before him again.

At the time, he was lying on a cold laboratory bed. His once most familiar lover approached with a cold expression, and a pocket watch slipped from his palm.

Su Mingge's gaze swayed along with the pocket watch, taking with it every memory of Qiu Liyuan's appearance there.

When they met again, Qiu Liyuan demanded to know why. Su Mingge stubbornly replied, "There's no reason. I just don't love you anymore. I dumped you and went looking for someone else. Satisfied with that explanation?"

He was about to keep hurling cruel words at him when familiar lips touched his. The man bent down and silenced his deceitful mouth with a kiss, one hand sliding around his waist.

Everyone knew Dr. Qiu had a missing lover. One day, this "lover" appeared before him, imitating Su Mingge as he threw himself into Qiu Liyuan's arms, only to be shoved away in disgust.

"What exactly are you trying to do?"

"Su Mingge" smiled. "Oh, you've found me out."

Later, a fire broke out in the apartment. Su Mingge's second personality was responsible, and Qiu Liyuan "died" in the blaze.

Yu Jin lies in the nest the man has built. Wen Nanzhi uses his powers to seal it off completely, so not even a trace of a suspicious scent can escape.

Wen Nanzhi holds him with a sickening obsession, repeating again and again, "I have to hide Big Brother away, where no one can find him."
