The Male Empress

A self-indulgent story, with an actual eunuch protagonist.

[A scheming eunuch bottom vs. an emperor who plays the pig to eat the tiger]

Xie Qian was the son of a convicted official. When he was six, his entire family was slaughtered, leaving him as the only survivor.

By a twist of fate, Xie Qian was sold into the palace and castrated, becoming a eunuch. Because of his striking looks, he was chosen as the “adopted son” of the chief eunuch, the Emperor's seal-bearer.

Facing the people who had murdered his parents, Xie Qian endured humiliation and moved carefully, step by step, vowing to rise in the world and avenge his family.

Everything went according to plan, until Xie Qian realized that the puppet emperor might not be as ambitionless and easily controlled as he appeared.

Xie Qian was given the task of persuading His Majesty to agree to take an empress and fill the imperial harem as soon as possible.

That night, Xie Qian went to the Emperor's chambers. The moment he stepped inside, he was pulled into a tight, feverish embrace.

“Your Majesty...”

Xiao Yiting buried his face against Xie Qian's neck, greedily breathing in his scent.

“I know what you're going to say, but you know I can't take an empress or any concubines.”

“I only want you.”

Two ambitious men go from suspicion and wariness, using each other for their own ends, to giving each other their hearts and joining forces. An invincible, sweet, and satisfying romance.
