A Beta's Secret

Bottom's point of view: Cheng Li was an outstanding beta. A graduate of a prestigious university, he worked for one of the country's leading multinational corporations and had an enviably "perfect" life. He had just one secret. He was saving money for an artificial gland implant. He wanted to become the lowest-ranking omega, just so he might be a little more worthy of the person he'd had a crush on for ten years: Wen Xuanyou, an S-rank alpha. They went to the same middle school, were in the same grade in high school, took classes together in college, and joined the same company after graduation. Cheng Li's life followed Wen Xuanyou's path forward through one "coincidence" after another, until he ended up in the closest position he could temporarily attain: Wen Xuanyou's assistant. But it wasn't enough. Not nearly enough. Every day they spent together made him want Wen Xuanyou even more. So Cheng Li secretly took Wen Xuanyou's personal clothes and placed them beside his bed. He mixed pills made with artificial pheromones of his own choosing into the coffee Wen Xuanyou drank every day. He used every means at his disposal to drive the other omegas away from Wen Xuanyou... He did all this so that on the day he became an omega after surgery, he could use his pheromones to "legitimately" entice Wen Xuanyou into heat. Top's point of view: There's this beta who's so stupid he thinks becoming an omega will let him be with me. The truth is, all it would take to capture me completely is four simple words. But he won't say those simple four words. Damn it. If he won't say them, I will! Notes: 1. Alpha top and beta bottom. Wen Xuanyou is the top, and Cheng Li is the bottom. 2. They both love each other, but the bottom has been in love with the top longer. 3. At heart, this is still a sweet story about two people who love each other. Theme: Those who never forget will eventually be answered.
