Dew on the Spring Moss

Sorry, I've changed the original premise.

Feel free to collect or follow as you like.

Socially anxious girl x ill-tempered psychopath

Lin Qiniang had been timid and shy since childhood, and feared interacting with people most of all. Her guiding principles had always been:

One: If she could avoid going out, she would.

Two: If she had to go out, she would take a side street rather than a main road.

Three: If she could huddle in a corner where no one went and pretend to be a mushroom, she would never stick her head out to speak.

One day, as usual, she followed a side path and hid in a secluded courtyard where no one ever went.

Then, unsurprisingly, she stumbled upon a murder in progress.

The killer calmly toyed with his bloodied blade until he was satisfied, then leisurely watched her for a long while, his eyes full of interest.

Then, in an act of extraordinary kindness, he gave her two choices:

One: Scream for help, summon everyone, and expose his crime in front of them all.

Two: He could mercifully let her stab the victim too, so she wouldn't have to overcome her social anxiety to call anyone over.

Lin Qiniang: ...!!

Note:

The story does not condone or excuse illegal acts.

The blurb takes some things out of context.

But the male lead really is a psychopath.
