The narration shifts between first and third person. The idea came from a comment I saw while scrolling: a rational human host and a reckless Ultra host. I was so inspired that I started writing on the spot.
As mentioned above, the human host is extremely rational, and the heroine teaches the Ultra how to be an Ultra.
An original heroine and an Ultra, with other Ultras making appearances. There may be quite a bit of discussion of big ideas.
The tech tree will follow my own brand of science, too.

That day, after twenty years of absence, a monster appeared again. I saw with my own eyes the body of the legendary, divinely radiant Giant of Light. It was... me, reflected in the glass skyscraper.
This was the origin of "us," the beginning of the story.
