[Highlight: Contains lots of cyberpunk elements]
[Interstellar + mecha + cyberpunk + full-dive game]
[The game world and the real world alternate]
You Yi is so broke she can barely afford a thing, and her personal mecha, Lito, hasn't had its memory upgraded in years.
Although Lito is an advanced AI, it's still a little dummy with only seven days of memory.
After she lost her temper and beat all the classmates who'd surrounded her into the hospital, her already struggling family was in even worse trouble.
Not only was Lito damaged, but her scholarship for the semester was gone too.
To earn money to repair her mecha and investigate the truth, You Yi dug out the inheritance the old man left her before he died: a game chip for the beta test of Love for Sale, a full-dive romance game where players bet on couples.
As the times have progressed, people may not want to fall in love themselves, but they can't get enough of watching fictional characters fall in love.
The game claims to use cutting-edge artificial intelligence to create dating-show NPCs who are as lifelike as possible.
Players take part in the story by acting out tasks and buying character cards for the cast, then make a profit by betting on couples.
When the beta test began, players discovered that one oddball had slipped in among them.
The rose petals had been scattered, the candlelit dinner was ready, the romantic music was playing, and the character card was in use.
The players rooting for this couple grinned like lovestruck weirdos from where the cast couldn't see them.
Suddenly, a woman in a gorgeous evening gown walked over from the next table, knocked the male guest unconscious with a chop to the neck, hoisted him over her shoulder, and ran.
The players watching in secret: "...??? Damn, it's you again!"
During a joint military academy exercise, You Yi, decked out in top-quality gear, is like a drawn blade, unstoppable.
Classmate: Where'd you get the money to upgrade your mecha?
You Yi: Squeezing the capitalists for all they're worth.
The mecha technician, whose name doesn't deserve to be mentioned, stands nearby with a blank face and a broken heart: She breaks up my ships and freeloads off my work. What a shameless woman.
Just as everyone is stunned by the Third Legion's affiliated academy producing yet another rising star, You Yi, the star herself, quietly slips away from the crowd.
There's something she needs to figure out.
Why does this unfamiliar cadet remind her of one of the game's guests?
Reader's Guide:
1. An incredibly capable female lead x a male lead who is strong, but not quite as strong
2. Plot-focused, with a large ensemble cast. Everyone has their own personality and ideas.
3. An interstellar setting, not ABO. Lots of original worldbuilding, soft sci-fi, and cyberpunk elements.
4. Writing practice, updates whenever inspiration strikes.
Theme: Appreciate the value of human emotions amid technological progress
I finally finished it! The logic has been reorganized, and the general direction has not changed, but now the emotional development of the characters and the direction of the plot at least make it more reasonable to me. Thanks to the old readers who stayed with me while I was revising the article and the new readers who clicked in to save it during the chaotic period. (づ ̄ 3 ̄)づ Also, my PC version backend is still not good. I wrote all of today's updates on my PC, sent them to my phone, and then sent them using the app. I also checked to see if the format was messy. . . Posting a post is like overcoming a tribulation. I can't wait to help Jinjiang fix bugs.
It's great, can't wait for the next chapter!
Youyou: Will the planet explode if I have one more rich person? Why am I so poor (collapse)
The copywriting is great, but why does it look so unhappy?
All I'm looking at are cute little ones hhh
