Even a Noob Like Me Can Get a Happy Ending

Amnesia, then taken in.

With no money and no idea who she was, young Fujimaru Ritsuka wandered the capital of the Restoration Era until a friendly man and woman coaxed her into joining a strange outfit called the Sakamoto Detective Agency. She became an agent to pay her living expenses.

Ritsuka: "That doesn't mean I know nothing about common sense! And are we some kind of terrorist organization or what?"

Each new assignment was stranger than the last, so the newly hired agent could only cling to her partner for support.

First assignment: Rescue an undercover agent from a sniper.

The sniper can shoot from 800 meters away. The agent can't even run 800 meters without getting winded. But there's good news: the other guy is an undercover agent too.

"Wait! Nobu, don't use your Noble Phantasm here!"

The sniper looked at the matchlock gun in front of him, a model 800 years out of date, his expression inscrutable.

Second assignment: Help find a pet.

It's shaped like a bug, a meter long, and can both swallow and spit things out.

The client says it's worth hundreds of millions. The agent replies, "But the reward is only 30,000 QP."

With an innocent little country dog in tow, the sheltered Ritsuka steps into a world of glittering nightlife.

"Izo! How did you become a host? I can't afford to buy you!"

Third assignment: Look after five children.

She thought she'd be a babysitter, but she ended up as a bodyguard.

The client didn't mention the gunfights, bombs, and ability users.

Out for a seaside stroll with her frail companion, she finds a pile of terrorists threatening public safety beneath her feet.

Fourth assignment: Stop a child from eating fingers.

A 15-year-old high school boy is still a child, and he's eating a thousand-year-old expired product.

An unscrupulous teacher hears that you get 19 free with every one you eat: might as well take advantage.

Ritsuka covers her face. "Miss A Long, please stop eating random things!"

With her targets met and assignments completed, life gets better and better.

Fate is changed, timelines leap forward, and in the end they reach the one and only destination.

Before You Read

1. FGO provides the background. The cast consists mainly of Guda and the Teito group, plus members related to the Guda Guda events. Everyone else appears only in memories.

2. A crossover with Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Detective Conan, in a quick transmigration format. The worlds don't merge, and the guys get to come along. People from different worlds only meet at the Teito Singularity, lol.

3. Happy ending, no one gets killed off.

4. The pairing is probably Izo or Saito Hajime, though with my writing style, it'll still be an everyone-is-friends-with-ambiguous-romance kind of story!
