[Wasteland fiction. Set 3,000 years in the future, in 5020 AD, as Earth declines]
Dominant's POV:
During a battle, Mo Li accidentally lands in a lawless border region. A boy living in a landfill takes him home and keeps him as a pet.
At first, Mo Li plays along with the boy to stay alive.
Later, he discovers that the boy is frighteningly innocent, and his wariness and dislike of him begin to fade.
Then the military finds him, but instead of taking him home, they plan to raze the entire Blue Bay District to the ground.
Mo Li's faith in the military is finally and utterly shattered.
So he escapes Blue Bay District with the boy and becomes a true wanderer of Earth, struggling to survive alongside him.
Submissive's POV:
Easter finds a man and takes the unconscious stranger home, keeping him as a pet.
In the Blue Bay District where he lives, humans are a kind of commodity, so he doesn't think anything of it.
Then one day, the military appears in the skies above Blue Bay District and announces that it will raze the area to the ground.
Only then does Easter realize that the man belongs to the military.
He wants to return the man to the military and ask them not to bomb his home, but the man gives up his chance to rejoin the military and escapes Blue Bay District with him instead.
Notes:
△ The dominant is mixed-race, with a Chinese mother and a North Asian father. North Asia is in what is now northern Asia. The submissive is of pure Chinese descent. For various reasons, he ended up in Blue Bay District, in what is now the southern part of North America, and was raised by Scandinavians.
△ Neither the dominant nor the submissive is a virgin, but neither has been promiscuous. Their lack of virginity is meant to represent the decline of civilization. If this really bothers you, I'm afraid I'll just have to regret losing such a lovely reader.
△ I haven't thought of anything else yet, but I'll add more as I go...

Theme: Even with the end of the world at hand, human civilization must not be lost.
Come on, your writing is great!
