After Seizing the Demon Lord's Throne, He Volunteered to Enter the Golden House

"She took your position. Don't you have anything to say?"

"I do." The former Demon Lord slung the little bundle he'd packed over his back, then snuggled up close to Ye Chen, who had taken his position. "I'm not the Demon Lord anymore, so you'll have to support me from now on. I want to live in a golden house. Build one for me."

Ye Chen had been wearing a serious expression, but after being cuddled, she turned into a bewitched ruler, blushing and beaming. "I'll build it, I'll build it! I'll use spirit stones to build it for you!"

Seeing Ye Chen act like a lovestruck ruler, some of her subordinates decided she was unfit to rule. They launched the ultimate betrayal, trying to seize the Demon Lord's position once more so they could rule the world by day and sleep in a beauty's arms by night.

Her husband waited for her with warmed wine in their spirit-stone house. Ye Chen walked out with her sword and left the mountains awash in blood.

When she returned, she lay down on her beloved's lap and waited for him to feed her wine.

Actually, becoming the current Demon Lord wasn't part of Ye Chen's plan at first. She had come with the serious intention of winning over the Demon Lord.

She had already been dead for a long time, and had returned to life in another person's body. The System said that if she successfully won over the Demon Lord, she could keep living indefinitely.

Was there any choice but to agree?

Ye Chen didn't realize until she met him that he was exactly to her liking. But that's another story.
