After Marrying My Childhood Friend

As the eldest daughter of the Ruan family, Ruan Jing is famous for being spoiled, willful, and picky.

She spent over twenty years living lavishly and doing as she pleased, until one day her parents asked her to pick someone to marry so they could enjoy some time alone together.

On a whim, she chose Zhao Shiyan, the head of the Zhao family.

They had grown up together more than ten years ago.

In her memory, Zhao Shiyan was quiet and shy, and she could always make him cry with a little teasing.

Ruan Jing figured he was easy to bully and wouldn't dare control her after they got married.

Her parents: "...As long as you're happy."

The Zhao family agreed to the marriage, too.

Before the wedding, the two arranged to meet at a cafe.

Traffic held Ruan Jing up, so she arrived a little late.

Unconcerned, she flicked her hair back and walked into the cafe.

Then she fell silent on the spot.

Wait, who was that tall, handsome guy radiating an air of abstinence?

Unfortunately, it was her own choice of marriage, so she had to go through with it, even if she had to grit her teeth.

After a few encounters, Ruan Jing tested his limits again and again, but he only indulged her in silence.

That indulgence lasted until their wedding night.

Ruan Jing realized that everything seemed to be spiraling out of control...
