[Childhood friends, raised together]
The night before Jiang Yiluo was due to start kindergarten, at the age of five, she made an important discovery:
Her household registration booklet and that of her favorite person, Brother Si Yan, were not the same!
She wasn't part of the Lu family after all!
Jiang Yiluo couldn't accept it. That night, she took a sheet of paper and some crayons and drew a "household registration page" herself, then slipped it into the Lu family's booklet, right beside Lu Siyan's name.
The next day, when they went to register, Mrs. Lu found the "forged document" and pulled it out with a laugh. Little Jiang Yiluo cried all the way home. Nine-year-old Lu Siyan comforted her:
"Don't cry, Luoluo. I'll keep this piece of paper safe for you."
"When you're grown up, we'll ask Mom about making it official."
One afternoon, many years later, in the Lu family's study, the cool and refined man wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and smoothed out the yellowed sheet of paper. His voice was low.
"Jiang Yiluo, when you were five, you said you wanted to be registered as part of the Lu family."
"Does that still count?"

In elementary school, because Jiang Yiluo was so clingy, Lu Siyan laid down three rules for her:
1. No crying for more than thirty minutes.
2. No climbing into my bed.
3. No coming to find me in my classroom.
After they got married, Mrs. Lu laid down three rules for Lu Siyan:
1. No work dinners past eleven at night.
2. No more than three times a day.
3. Tell me you love me once in the morning and once at night.
She knows how to fuss and act cute x He knows how to comfort her and give in
A foster-family romance, a sweet childhood-friends story. Both are each other's first and only, happy ending.
