[Western Crossover] For World Peace, I Have Decided To

The full title is "For World Peace, I’ve Decided to Become a Batman Fan." It wouldn’t fit in the title field. Amen.

Azathoth opened his eyes. His descent to a lower dimension gave him a new life, and turned all the mundane trifles of his past life as a human into smoke and dust.

Having taken Azathoth’s powers as his golden finger, all he felt was an unbearable boredom.

To relieve his boredom and suppress his urge to fall asleep, he decided to find himself some entertainment.

For example, becoming a Batman fan.

1. I’m bad at writing synopses. I just wrote whatever came to mind, so let’s go with this for now. This isn’t a typical Lovecraftian story! Think of it as wearing a disguise! I know full well that it’s impossible for someone from the Lovecraftian mythos to fall in love.

2. One-on-one romance, with the protagonist as the top. The pairing is already set: Bruce Wayne. Though there’s a romantic angle, it’s different from the usual kind. Think more along the lines of Batman sacrificing himself to a demon for the sake of world peace.

3. Fanfiction inevitably involves some out-of-character moments, so please bear with me. The early part focuses on DC, the middle part on Marvel, and the later part on various other worlds (including Lord of the Mysteries and Injustice).

4. Aside from canon pairings, there will be some Superman/Batman undertones in other worlds. There are no other secondary pairings.

5. This is an original timeline, with a lot of my own ideas mixed in. Don’t worry if it’s all over the place. I’m just as confused as the author.
