Please Don't Turn Down Lanny's Request

Boulder Lanny is a newly born god of the 727 star system. Few people know that its true form is a palm-sized black octopus with tentacles, though they are very short, only about three centimeters long. During an interstellar war, Lanny was accidentally injured. Its carefully cherished tentacles were severed and scattered across different points in time and space. It became three centimeters shorter, and losing its tentacles took most of its divine power with them. The newborn god burst into tears on the spot. After crying for days and nights, Lanny set off on a journey through time and space to find its adorable tentacles. After countless trials and tribulations, it finally found them, only to be stunned. The prototype of Tentacle Number One had grown to a hundred times Lanny's height and become a mighty general stationed before an empire's palace. Tentacle Number Two's divine power had grown tremendously, and the locals now worshiped it as a god. Tentacle Number Three had thrown a region into chaos, gathered a host of dark forces, and crowned itself king... Lanny was quietly falling apart. What had happened to its tentacles? They weren't adorable anymore. And its offshoot tentacles were all so much stronger than it. What was it supposed to do? It asked cautiously, "Would you still be willing to come back with me?" "Lord Lanny, wait a little longer. Once I've cut off their heads, I'll put them in our wedding bouquet for you." "They're filthy and base. They don't deserve to stay by your side. Lord Lanny, wait a little longer. You only need me. I'll always be your most loyal believer." "Of course I will, Lord Lanny. But will you love only me forever?" They pressed closer and closer, while Lanny retreated step by step. Wait, this wasn't how things were supposed to go! [The tentacles always had independent thoughts and personalities of their own, but they were all suppressed by their original body, Lanny. Once separated from it, they evolved into offshoots, growing taller and larger and developing into different forms.] Contains possessive suitors competing for love.
