My next book, Forecast for Tomorrow, is coming soon. Welcome!
[Reading Guide] Little Daojun was the male lead's old nickname. His original name is Jiang Luya, the same as the Daoist immortal Lu Ya. His family made up the name as a joke. Other than that, neither lead works in a Daoist-related profession.
When the resurrected girl he had never gotten over appeared before her, Meng Ke was entwined with a flirtatious acquaintance she'd known for all of two hours.
The girl smiled faintly. “Miss Meng, that'll be 50 for the car wash.”
Meng Ke immediately slapped her cheap date.
So that night, Meng Ke showed up at the girl's place carrying a pile of gear.
“What are you doing here?”
“Picking up where we left off.”
Jiang Lu narrowed her eyes. “Put that peachwood sword down first.”
-
Before she became the girl he never got over, the first time they met, Meng Ke asked Jiang Lu to take her to an internet cafe.
Jiang Lu: “The teacher forbids it. I'm class monitor, so I have to set a good example.”
Meng Ke: “I stole your test papers and took them to the internet cafe.”
After they became close, Jiang Lu asked Meng Ke what her dream was.
She said, “Grow flowers and plants, and stay alive.”
Later, Meng Ke was locked in a dark basement by her stepmother and abused until she passed out with a high fever.
Jiang Lu carried her through a narrow lane lined with jasmine. The full moon shone bright and clear over red brick and green shadows.
She said, “We're almost out. It'll be bright once we get outside.”
That summer, Jiang Lu planted flowers in an entire courtyard. Meng Ke lounged contentedly in a rocking chair, at peace in body and mind.
Jiang Lu spoke to the star-filled sky. “The flowers are here. You stay alive.”
Meng Ke: Grow flowers and plants, and stay alive.
Jiang Lu prayed before the Buddha: May Meng Ke be safe and sound, and live well.
Years later, they met again.
She had returned from studying abroad and was engaged to a rich, handsome man, living a safe and easy life.
He was in a wretched state, barely managing to stay alive.
But Jiang Lu was calm and relieved in her heart. Meng Ke, the Bodhisattva answered my prayers.

Forecast for Tomorrow
[An assistant professor of meteorology whose mood sours whenever it rains x A lovely young ghost who brings rain wherever she goes]
The meteorology assistant professor Cheng Shuli had always been old-fashioned and rigid in his ways. Even his sleeping posture was perfectly prim and proper.
Tang Youyou floated over to his bedside and clicked her tongue disdainfully. “Tsk, even we dead people don't sleep like that.”
Cheng Shuli shot back, “I've never seen a ghost who eats as much as you do.”
Tang Youyou: “And I've never seen someone as lifeless as you!”
Cheng Shuli sneered. “When I find your grave, I'll dig it up and see if all that's left is your mouth.”
Tang Youyou was exasperated. “You bitter old man!”
Cheng Shuli sneered. “You've been floating around for over a hundred years. Which one of us is older, then?!”
Tang Youyou: “…”
In a fit of anger, Tang Youyou stopped appearing. The weather station on Wuziding enjoyed several consecutive days of clear skies, but Cheng Shuli's mood only got worse.
A friend who knew about his rainy-day syndrome asked, “The weather's great. Why are you still so down?”
Cheng Shuli: “There's a ghost in my heart.”
[Extra Scene]
One day, Cheng Shuli, who never skipped work, left early. His coworkers couldn't find him for a meeting and wondered why he hadn't just taken the day off.
Cheng Shuli, who rigidly upheld his commitment to honesty, didn't want to lie, but he couldn't think of a reasonable excuse.
He sighed. “Would my boss believe me if I said the person I love is celebrating her hundredth birthday?”
Theme: Always love life.
This is the novel that I really cried for the characters in the story since I read it. It's too empty. Why did all the bad luck come to him? This life is neither long nor short. Half of his life is struggling in the darkness.
What is Nie Yan's story? I'm so curious.
Okay, okay, I'm really afraid that something will happen to either of them.
The author is really good at writing! The writing style is particularly delicate and the simple sentences are particularly artistic 😭 Please write more and I'd love to read it.
I feel very sad after reading this. I just wish I was healthy and alive.
Taoist master is mighty, I will take you away, it really warms my heart
Is this article he or be?
It's really sad for the two of them when they grow up. Both of them are so difficult. They can still argue angrily in high school. When they meet again after separation, one of them is less courageous than the other. What should I do? Don't let them separate. Let them be together sweetly. It's too difficult for them, otherwise they will both die from pain.
Come on. Although the setting of this book is not my cup of tea, after reading a little bit, I feel that the writing is very delicate.
