1.
At the police station.
Shen Chi is a convict on probation, and Cheng Nuo is a prosecutor.
He asks, "What do you think you can promise me?"
She replies, "That you'll take care of your life."
Later, Shen Chi says, "I'll take care of my life, and I'll take care of you."
Later still.
Shen Chi asks, "Are you sure you want to be with me?"
Cheng Nuo grabs him by the collar and pulls him down, the corner of her mouth curling up. "Get it straight. Who's with whom?"
2.
Cheng Nuo is a ray of light clinging to a cold blade, cleaving through the gloom that has bound Shen Chi for ten years from deep within his flesh and blood.
She is the one tenderness of his life. He is the glory that stands shoulder to shoulder with her faith.

I wrote this first story on a whim a few years ago. Looking back, I can see plenty of plot holes. I wrote it to show how multifaceted people are, and to remind readers to believe in the goodness and kindness of human nature. If anything is inaccurate, I'm open to feedback. Thank you all, and I hope you have a happy life!
Please add my new story, Weather Report, to your reading list!
An associate professor of meteorology whose mood sours whenever it rains x a beautiful ghost who makes it rain wherever she appears
Cheng Shuli, an associate professor of meteorology, has always been old-fashioned and stiff in his ways. Even his sleeping posture is perfectly, meticulously neat.
Tang Youyou drifts over to his bedside and clicks her tongue in disdain. "Tsk, even we dead people don't sleep like that."
Cheng Shuli shoots back, "I've never seen a ghost who eats as much as you do, either."
Tang Youyou: "I've never seen someone as lifeless as you!"
Cheng Shuli: "When I find your grave, I'll dig it up and see if all that's left is your mouth."
Tang Youyou is furious. "You caustic old coot!"
Cheng Shuli sneers. "You've been floating around for over a hundred years. Which of us is older, exactly?!"
Tang Youyou: "..."
In a fit of anger, Tang Youyou stops showing up. The weather at the Wuziding Observatory stays sunny and cloudless for days, and Cheng Shuli's mood gets even worse.
His friend, who knows about his rainy-day syndrome, asks, "Why are you so glum when the weather's nice?"
Cheng Shuli replies, "I've got a ghost in my heart."
Theme: Believe in justice and love life
Ah
I discovered the article by accident. For a person who is very picky about words and stories, the detail of "covering clothes" when the male and female protagonists met at the police station has become deeply rooted in people's hearts without even realizing it. Neither the male or female protagonists in the story are perfect characters. They each have their own scars and carry heavy burdens as they move forward. To a certain extent, they are so similar, persistent and kind, fragile and strong. The two met secretly, then attracted each other, warmed each other, redeemed each other, and finally embraced happiness. Very nice! During the writing, I saw Da Da occasionally mentioning his "insufficient writing", which may cause some delays in the plot. However, as the first story in Da Da's column, I think it is very good. You can get the emotional outlook and values that the author wants to convey between the lines. It starts with romance but does not stop at love, which is good. A good story deserves to be seen by more people. Come on!
Finished spreading flowers!!!!
I stayed up late yesterday to watch it. It was so good.
Very well written!! I read three or four books in a row!!
