The Supporting Actress Goes Viral for Slacking Off on a Parenting Show

Song Ruiru transmigrated into a variety show novel as the cannon-fodder female supporting character who served as a foil.

The supporting character married into a wealthy family, but her husband didn't love her and even her son kept his distance. She had only money for company each month. Unwilling to endure such a lonely life, she constantly tried to get her husband's attention, only pushing him farther away.

Ever since her debut, she'd been slammed by netizens for being brainless, affected, and spoiled, as well as for flaunting her wealth. She became a notorious celebrity, famous for all the wrong reasons.

After joining this variety show, she was mocked by the entire internet.

The female lead, on the other hand, was beautiful and kind. Though her husband was a penniless young entrepreneur, they worked hard together and raised their children with care. They moved countless netizens, gained a huge following, and used the show to turn their lives around and become winners in life.

The supporting character's antics made the male and female leads look even more wonderful.

Song Ruiru, now in the supporting character's shoes, spread her hands. Anyone else could be the foil. She wasn't going to do it.

When the live variety show began, hordes of haters flooded Song Ruiru's livestream, eager to watch the spectacle.

But they didn't see Song Ruiru dutifully and nervously serving her husband, in-laws, and son in the wealthy household as they had expected.

Instead, she slept in until ten, while more than a dozen housekeepers competed to bring her delicious food, give her a spa treatment, and pick handsome young men to join her team.

Every day was colorful and different: mentoring a boy band competition, acting alongside an award-winning actor, or taking a dream vacation to a beautiful island.

Meanwhile, the female lead's group argued every day over how to raise the children, struggled to juggle part-time jobs and family life, and complained about the male lead going out drinking...

Song Ruiru still ended up as the show's foil, but this time...

Netizens: Isn't this the dream life I want? Rich, without a husband!!!!!

But her husband, who used to be away on business all the time, started coming home more and more often, while her son wrapped his arms around her leg and sweetly called her Mom.

Song Ruiru: “!!!”

Hey! Don't call me that!
