I'm Done Chasing You, Time to Study

Everyone at No. 1 High knew Song Xuezhu was not to be trifled with. She was beautiful, and dangerous.

She spent her days doing nothing and hanging out with a bad crowd. Aside from studying, she could do just about anything.

Plenty of people pursued her, but she fell for Xie Jingzhi, the transfer student.

In a white shirt, his slight figure soaked by the autumn rain, he appeared in her world without warning.

After school that day, she stopped him and confessed. "Xie Jingzhi, I like you. How about being my boyfriend?"

Xie Jingzhi turned her down bluntly. "Not interested."

That rainy night in early autumn, the whole school was buzzing.

Song Xuezhu didn't stop pursuing him just because he'd rejected her.

She arranged to bump into him every day. She brought him breakfast, shared her favorite songs, and openly told him how she felt.

Her presence became a nuisance to Xie Jingzhi, and he rejected her again.

Song Xuezhu didn't care. "Oh? Then what kind of girl do you like?"

The boy sat up straight, his voice cool and detached. "Someone who gets good grades, has a kind heart, and respects her teachers."

Song Xuezhu was none of those things.

From that day on, everyone at school saw her change.

She dyed her hair back to black and wore her baggy uniform properly. She showed up to every class and eagerly took part in every activity.

Her friends thought she'd fallen hard.

Song Xuezhu thought so too.

But later, she found something more interesting than chasing her dream guy: studying.

That is, being herself and not forcing things.

After the college entrance exams, Xie Jingzhi waited for Song Xuezhu, but she never came. So he went to find her himself.

"Song Xuezhu, did you forget to take something with you?"

"What?"

"Your boyfriend."
