Taking My Wife on a Variety Show!

Chu Xin is a newcomer who's only just dipped a toe into online voice acting. She has few credits and no following, but her voice is exceptional: she can sound male or female, sweet or sultry, and most importantly, she's very good at recording steamy scenes. The two are cast together on a voice-acting variety show. The director says, "Huh, you two have great chemistry, not just vocally but visually, too. How about we stir up some buzz?" Give them a convincing enemies-to-lovers script." Recording the first episode. Liang Cheng looks disgusted. "Don't come near me!" Chu Xin rolls her eyes. "So what if you're famous?" Recording the second episode. Liang Cheng tries to be friendly, clearing his throat as he leans closer. "Um, Teacher Chu, want me to help you run through your lines?" Chu Xin pretends to be shy and bites her lip. "Oh, well, if you insist, Teacher Liang." The third episode. Chu Xin sidles up with a beaming smile, her voice twisting through several different pitches. "Teaaacher Liiiaaang." Liang Cheng: "...Damn, I'm done for. I've fallen for her." After the show wraps. The director beams. "Wow, we've promoted CPs for years, but never one this convincing. Why are you two still voice actors? You should switch to screen acting. You could win Best Actor." Liang Cheng: *smiles* Chu Xin: *says nothing* That night, the two move out of the hotel and back to their little apartment. The moment they step inside, Chu Xin is pulled close and pinned against the wall. Liang Cheng leans in, smiling faintly. "Teacher Chu, you're quite the actor. Tell me, was this all part of your plan?" Chu Xin wraps her arms around his neck and looks up at him with a mischievous grin. "That's not fair. Teacher Liang was the one who had designs on me first." Basically, it's a story about relentlessly pursuing the one person you can't live without, as long as they're worth it, of course. One-on-one romance, happy ending, both leads' first time, and they're both good people. The uke has been to prison, but it was against his will, and it doesn't make him a bad person.
