An Office Drone Gets Trapped in a Horror Dating Sim

[Genius Detective x Beautiful, Powerful, and Tragic Yandere]

-1-

After a ridiculously unlucky nap, Zhu Shijin transmigrates into a horror otome game called Murder GAME. From the start, she's dropped into a town where people die all the time. The satellite dish on the boxy TV is always covered in static, the townspeople wear eerie smiles, and female students from the vocational high school keep disappearing. A trio from the detective agency follows the clues through the night.

And, in another stroke of terrible luck, she takes a tumble on a mountain of graves and falls into... a world within another world?

The boxy TV with its satellite dish only gets one channel now. All the townspeople have vanished, and the female students from the vocational high school... uh, have turned into eight-foot-tall monsters, drooling as they stare at her.

Zhu Shijin: = =

Her brain freezes for a few seconds, and she is left reeling. Other main characters with cheat codes at least get a System and a golden finger. Grandma, you're making me fight with my bare hands???

A perfect corporate drone who can't lift a finger to save herself, Zhu Shijin takes off running, showing the spirit of a woman who can run 800 meters in five minutes and eleven seconds.

Help! Aaaaaah! Don't come any closer! She's just a hapless, accidentally transmigrated otaku office worker!

Damn it! I was so busy chasing after the men that I forgot to spend money on equipment!

Just then, the sky over the freezing mountain of graves flashes brightly. Lightning strikes and thunder roars, as if the end credits of a movie are appearing in the sky:

[Game Ending Achieved: Being Weak Is a Sin.]

[1. Rewind and start over?]

[Y/N]

[2. Draw a skill?]

[Y/N]

Draw, draw, draw! Even a cursed player has to pull!

After rewinding 999 times and still being stuck, Zhu Shijin looks up at the sky. Her main quest is to maintain world peace, and her side quest is to achieve happy endings on the personal routes of five male leads.

With her newly acquired card-drawing skill, she can see the truth behind the townspeople's deaths in the inner world. She charges at the monsters with her eyes wide open and her knife swinging, yet still gets treated to 999 rounds of the yandere simulator's restart screen.

In the real world, she's the mastermind behind the Red Scarf Squad. In the inner world, she's already in tears, being treated as the Mountain God's bride and climbing into a... w-wedding car?!

Zhu Shijin angrily lifts her veil. The instant her face is revealed, the world suddenly goes black. A few lines appear in the air, and she triggers another ending:

[Wei Yi thinks your smile is too sweet and simply adorable. The next day, he imprisons you and keeps you busy for days and nights, achieving the ending: In the Basement.]

Zhu Shijin: Who is Wei Yi? Is he that yandere killer who always leads her to a bad ending?

Her love for men is no longer enough to endure the pain of being stuck, and she whips out her kitchen knife.

Stop showing me disgusting porn game CGs. You bastard, just die.

#If I get another basement ending, I'll blow up the whole world!#

#After 999 tries, that murderer finally put down his weapon and became a lovesick fool!#

* Set in a fictional game world. The heroine is highly intelligent, while the male lead is the powerful combatant and her support. Many personal headcanons; I'll add more if I think of anything that might be a trigger.

* One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's only partner, happy ending.

Theme: Loving yourself is the start of a romantic life.
